Here’s what’s happening right now in regard to Blog Action Day 2008:
1. Mixx Our Video - We’ve gotten 31 votes in Mizz so far. Will you bump us up a bit please?
2. Mashable (one of the biggest blogs on earth) just mentioned us in an article talking about our partner, Social Actions. (Thanks for making the poverty widget, guys!)
3. Doug Cloud is sharing his soul, his wallet and also his Web design expertise in honor of Blog Action Day.
4. Sister Julie at A Nun’s Life will hold a book discussion on October 15 (Blog Action Day) using Jon Sobrino’s No Salvation Outside the Poor as a conversation starter. Brilliant idea Sister Julie!
5. Learn About Poverty is a special blog created just for Blog Action Day 2008 by the excellent people at World Vision.
6. Styletime is holding a contest in connection with our event.
7. Yanko Design (a Technorati top 100 blog) is also holding a competition for Blog Action Day.
